All About Mrs. Hill

My name is Dani Hill and this is my seventh year teaching and my third year teaching at Fairview Elementary School. The majority of my teaching experience has been in 4th grade. I love teaching 4th graders because they have incredible energy and enthusiasm! They are innovative, curious, and eager for new knowledge. I consider it a great honor to be a partner on their journey to becoming independent, lifelong learners.

I graduated from Truett-McConnell College (now Truett-McConnell Universtiy) in Cleveland, Georgia. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement. I also played college softball.

I am a native of McDonough, Georgia. I made the move to North Georgia after marrying my husband, Matt Hill. We have been married for three years and we live in Toccoa, Georgia. We have one daughter, Madi Tate, and she will be a year old in September. We also have 3 fur babies- Charlie the Pug, Jax the Black Lab, and Dollie the Labradoodle. We attend The Pointe Church in Toccoa, Georgia and enjoy serving our community with our church. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, and hunting for Rae Dunn pottery!

Fun Facts About Mrs. Hill:

  • I have an identical twin sister who is also a teacher. We used to switch places in kindergarten because our classrooms were connected by a bathroom. She lives and teaches in McDonough, Georgia, but we love having regular Skype sessions with each other's classrooms!

  • I am obsessed with Chick-Fil-A, Diet Coke, and anything with a monogram!

  • I have been on a Teacher's Edition of the Price is Right, but I didn't win anything!
